Mobile App

You can now you your mobile device to search the Pownal library stscks and collections.  LibraryWorld Search for iPhone lets you seach your library from your iphone, itouch, or ipad from anywhaere and anytime you have access to your mobile device and the internet. Features include searching, book jackets, ststus of items, and a cool clipboard feature.  The app is available for free for the App Store.

Magazines:

Magazines are not kept by the library due to space constraints.  Often there are FREE up-to-date issues in the crate by the entryway of the library.  Make sure you help yourself and share them with those who need reading material.  Please donate your new copies of magazines.  The library does have a selection of periodicals that can be take out on loan.

Donations

The Library will take donations of bestsellers, childrens books, cds-dvds, and paperbacks at any time during the year.  Give the library a call if you have any specifc questions regarding donations. Donations not added to our shelves will be put in our book sale to help the library fund special projects and programs. Previous donations provided funds for computer equipment.

Pownal 250 Quilt:

The Pownal 250 Quilt is hanging up in the library and is getting lots of visitors with cameras. Come and see the creative squares stitched together that make a beautiful picture of our community.
